A principal has written to parents after teachers raised 'concerns' about Brett Button, the bus driver who took students on an excursion, before he would days later crash a coach and kill ten wedding guests.
A New South Wales school had raised"concerns" about the bus driver days before the Hunter Valley wedding tragedy where ten guests were killed.
The principal on Wednesday sent out an email to parents of the kids on the school outing, revealing Mr Button was the driver behind the wheel. The school has since also written to Linq, the bus company involved in the tragedy, and NSW Police who are investigating the cause of the crash."We have received no other complaints about Mr Dutton before the receipt of that letter," she said.
Ten wedding guests from Mitchell Gaffney and Madeleine Edsell's were killed when the bus flipped onto a metal guard rail at a major roundabout in Greta late on Sunday night. Seven of the deceased - husband and wife Andrew and Lynan Scott, mother and daughter Nadene and Kyah McBride, Tori Cowburn, Kane Symons and Rebecca Mullen - were locals from the nearby town of Singleton.
