Hurricane Beryl left severe damage across parts of the Houston area this week, and multiple school districts will be keeping their campuses closed on Thursday.
Aldine ISD will be closed Thursday July 11. The district is scheduled to reopen on Monday, July 15.Conroe ISD will be closed to the public on Thursday, July 11, but employees scheduled to work will report at their standard time. Supervisors will share additional information as necessary. Conroe ISD student summer programs will resume on Monday, July 15.Due to continued power outages, Crosby ISD will remain closed for the remainder of the week . All student and athletic activities are cancelled.
Due to continued widespread power outages across Katy ISD facilities, district campuses and support buildings will remain closed on Wednesday, July 10. There will be no student programming , professional development or facility rentals from Wednesday, July 10 through Sunday, July 14.Spring Branch ISD will remain closed Thursday, July 11, 2024, due to the ongoing power, phone, internet and other issues impacting the district and the larger Houston region.
