A Georgia mother is considering herself"lucky" after a stranger brought home her four-year-old son, who was dropped off at the wrong bus stop two miles away from where she was waiting to meet him.
Vanessa Ibarra of Forest Park, Georgia says that she waited for her son, Dominic, at his bus stop on Monday afternoon after his first day of pre-kindergarten at Huie Elementary School. At 2:50 p.m., he had not arrived. Ibarra immediately called the Clayton County Public School system and learned her four-year-old had been dropped off somewhere else.Thankfully, a good Samaritan saw Dominic wandering down the street, two miles away from his actual bus stop. He knew he was lost, but was able to give the woman directions to his house.“I asked what are you doing with my son and she goes, ‘He was wandering down the street,’” Ibarra told the station."I was so happy she saw my son," Ibarra said.
