Owen Schlager joined an elite group of Trinity basketball players by reaching 2,000 career points Tuesday night while leading the ‘Rocks to a dominant win and a berth in the Mid-Penn championship game.
Trinity saw its senior star reach a crowning moment, and the team advance to a conference title game, as the ‘Rocks dominated from bell-to-bell on Tuesday night. Owen Schlager became just the second player in Trinity program history to reach 2,000 career points, scoring 24 to reach 2,009 for his career in the win.Trinity started fast, with a Schlager 3-pointer opening the game.
After those fouls, though, Brown would come off the bench with an 8-point outburst, giving Trinity a 17-10 lead.
