SAN ANTONIO - The U.S. Marshals Service is asking for the public’s help in locating Justin John Shorey, who is wanted by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force on a warrant for his arrest. Shorey was convicted in 2020 of aiming a laser pointer at an aircraft over his Schertz home the previous year and served 51 months in federal prison. After his release, he was required to complete three years of supervised release.
Authorities say he is now accused of violating the terms of that supervision after being cited by the Transit Police Department for possession of a controlled substance and failing to report the contact to the U.S. Probation Office. Investigators also say Shorey failed to report to the federal probation office in San Antonio and did not communicate with his probation officer as required. The 44-year-old is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 207 pounds.
He has multiple distinctive tattoos, including an image of the Grim Reaper on his left foot and a demon with female hands holding a cross on his right leg.
