Patrons of The 211 Club are “Visionaries of Jewish Eldercare.” Their individual contributions of $1,500 or more annually help to ensure a high quality of life for Seacrest seniors in need.The evening celebration was held at the home of Mayo and Jeffrey Strauss in Solana Beach. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were served on the patio that offered a 180-degree view of the Pacific Ocean.
Strauss, owner and executive chef of Pamplemousse Grille in Solana Beach, catered the evening’s food and beverages. A selection of hors d’oeuvres, lamb with mint jelly and ahi tartare with wasabi caviar led into a dinner duo of filet and porcini dusted salmon, and finishing with a dessert buffet.
