A family of four have been found stabbed to death at ‘a scene of carnage’ in a London home.
Police were called to the address on Delaford Road, Southwark, at about 1.40am on Monday to reports of a disturbance.Despite attempts to save them, all four died at the scene. Their next of kin are being contacted.
Anne Birkett, whose rear bedroom looks onto the property, said she was woken up by sirens and a helicopter hovering overhead just before 2am.However, she and her husband did not go outside their house to look at what was happening. "I'm a foster carer and I've got children in my care. and now I've got to protect them now because of what's happened."
