) - We’ll see scattered showers and storms across the area today, especially along the coast and the Florida Panhandle. We could see a couple of strong to severe storms in these areas today, as the surface front comes through.
The overall severe threat is low with a level one marginal risk according to the Storm Prediction Center. Rain chances are lower today to the north, especially into our Mississippi counties and into washington and Clarke counties. We could see a few scattered showers in these locations with improving conditions by this evening. The entire area will clear out overnight with just a few leftover clouds and cooler temperatures. We will wake up to temperatures in the 40s on your Sunday morning. It should warm back up into the mid 60s Sunday afternoon and we do expect a return of some sunshine. Temperatures stay above normal as we head into next week with highs in the upper 60s in low 70s.
