Get ready for some rain and snow! A cold storm is moving down into Southern California and we're tracking it. 🌧️
Precipitation amounts are expected to be somewhat limited across much of the region, generally a half-inch or less, with no flooding concerns, according to the National Weather Service.
In Los Angeles and Orange County, expect showers amid cloudy conditions and a high temperature of 57 degrees. The low will be 49. The valleys and Inland Empire will see similar conditions, with a high of 55 degrees and a low of 46. It'll be a rainy day at the beaches, where waves will be up to 4 feet. The high temperature will be 58 degrees and the low will drop to 50.
For the mountains, forecasters are calling for unusually low snow levels and higher than normal liquid-to-snow ratios. Snow is expected for many mountain passes, possibly impacting travel across the region. Expect rain and a high of 40 degrees. The low will be 21. Rain is on tap for the desert areas, where the high temperature will be 50 degrees. The low will be 39.
