Scarlet Witch's reputation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is clearly on display in Agatha All Along, showing that the public hates her. The new series has changed how audiences see the ending of WandaVision in a number of ways, and seems poised to confront more details of Wanda's past over its run. The show is steeped in the legacy of Wanda, and unfortunately, it seems that legacy has grown more divisive and disturbing over the years.
WandaVision , Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and the first two episodes of Agatha All Along are all streaming on Disney+. It is difficult to argue that Wanda doesn't deserve her ruined reputation, as her actions were very hurtful to many people. Still, the hero has had a long and complex story in the MCU, and doesn't deserve to only be defined by these actions. Much of Wanda's story, from the Avengers films to Captain America: Civil War, points to a complex figure in the Marvel Universe. This culminates in disappointment that the character has disappeared from the universe.
