🚨 A level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms and heavy rains in some parts of KZN was issued by SAWS on Wednesday. ⛈️ ECRNewsWatch KZNWeather

Forecaster Thandiwe Gumede says disruptive rain will be expected in some eastern parts of the province from the afternoon."The impact that we are referring to in this case are localised flooding for formal and informal settlements.

"Low-lying roads and bridges, difficult driving conditions which can be expected mostly on dirt roads and minor motor-vehicle accidents that can result to due to poor visibility as will as slippery roads." Rainfall forecast for tonight 31 May 2023. Widespread showers are expected over KZN and the eastern parts of the EC, with isolated to scattered showers over the eastern, central and south western parts of the country. Scattered showers and rain are expected over the south coast.
