Bryanna Cappadona is a managing editor for TODAY based in New York City. She writes on books, reality TV, internet personalities and, of course, Taylor Swift. She hails from Boston (go Pats!) and is perpetually searching for a good bagel.

As the search for Nancy Guthrie stretches into a seventh week, Savannah Guthrie and her family have shared a message to the people in Nancy’s community in Tucson, Arizona, for their continued support. The Guthrie family shared a message included in a March 21 special from KVOA - News 4 Tucson that sheds light on the investigation into Nancy’s disappearance.

KVOA’s special, called “Bring Her Home – The Disappearance of Nancy Guthrie,” shares the latest information on the case and spotlights how members of Nancy’s community continue to rally around the Guthrie family and organize efforts to find her. March 22 will mark seven weeks since Nancy Guthrie was taken from her home against her will in the middle of the night, according to authorities. Her family reported her missing on Feb. 1 when Nancy did not show up to a planned visit to a friend’s house to watch a livestreamed church service. The FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been investigating leads and sifting through thousands of tips around Nancy’s disappearance. Authorities have been trying to identify a man seen in doorbell camera images released by the FBI on Feb. 10 of an armed and masked man at Nancy’s home the night she disappeared. Investigators previously put out a call asking residents in Guthrie’s neighborhood to submit any potentially relevant video footage going back to Jan. 1, a month before Nancy Guthrie went missing. Neighbors told NBC News on March 18 that investigators have visited their homes and asked about specific dates, primarily the weekend Nancy disappeared as well as Jan. 11. The Guthrie family is offering a $1 million reward for the return of Nancy. The FBI is also offering a $100,000 reward and encouraging anyone with information to call 1-800-CALL-FBI. While Savannah has been off the air amid the ongoing search for her mother, she visited the TODAY studio at Rockefeller Center on March 6 to express her gratitude to her colleagues. “I wanted you to know that I’m still standing, and I still have hope, and I’m still me,” she told the staff. “And I don’t know what version of me that will be, but it will be.” “I’m holding onto my faith,” she added. “I still believe.” Visit KVOA’s website to find out more about its special around the Nancy Guthrie investigation. Read the Guthrie Family’s Statement to Tucson Residents We are deeply grateful for the outpouring from neighbors, friends and the people of Tucson. We are all family now. We continue to believe it is Tucsonans, and the greater southern Arizona community, that hold the key to finding resolution in this case. Someone knows something. It’s possible a member of this community has information that they do not even realize is significant. We hope people search their memories, especially around the key timelines of Jan. 31 and the early morning hours of Feb.1, as well as the late evening of Jan. 11. We desperately ask this community for renewed attention to our mom’s case — please consult camera footage, journal notes, text messages, observations or conversations that in retrospect may hold significance. No detail is too small. It may be the key. We miss our mom with every breath and we cannot be in peace until she is home. We cannot grieve; we can only ache and wonder. Our focus is solely on finding her and bringing her home. We want to celebrate her beautiful and courageous life. But we cannot do that until she is brought to a final place of rest. Thank you for continuing to pray without ceasing.
