Sausage Party: Foodtopia is executive produced by showrunnersAriel Shaffir and Kyle Hunter, who co-wrote the 2016 animated feature film with Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The series will feature returning voice cast members such as Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, and Edward Norton. They will be joined by new characters played by Will Forte, Sam Richardson, Natasha Rothwell, and Yassir Lester.
