The seasonally adjusted Emirates NBD Saudi Arabia Purchasing Managers’ Index rose to 56.8 in March from 56.6 in February. A reading above 50 indicates expansion and below that contraction. The new orders sub-index rose to 65.5 in March, an almost four-year high, while the output sub-index rose to a seven-month high of 59.6, up marginally from 59.2 in January.
