Saskatoon Land director Frank Long told council at various points throughout the meeting that his department needs to have an idea of the swale boundaries in order to proceed with work on the concept plan. Ward 1 Coun. Darren Hill put forward an amendment to include the proposed additions, noting these are preliminary boundaries.
Ward 10 Coun. Zach Jeffries opposed Hill’s motion on the grounds that he prefers to have an administration report studying potential impacts of adding the parcels, then vote on that.
