SIBU, Aug 7 — A total of 153 projects have been approved for the Sibu Division with a total ceiling of RM746.5 million under the first half of the 12 Malaysia Plan , Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Openg said today.

On the Bukit Assek redevelopment in Sibu by the Land Custody and Development Authority , the premier said a preliminary study is currently being undertaken by a Danish consultant and is expected to be completed by July next year. He said the private sector is to provide housing, commercial and water catchment management solutions in-line with the aspiration of the PCDS 2030.
