Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg said the state government plans to adopt a similar approach in adjusting the salaries of its civil servants, with the implementation-dependent on its financial capability. He added that, since the state's public service scheme operates on a Contribution-Based Position model and does not include a pension scheme, the state government is also considering additional benefits and promotion opportunities for its staff.
