Sarawak says four of the six new Covid-19 cases are from Kuching and two from Limbang.Four of the cases are from Kuching and two from Limbang. All are being treated at designated hospitals.
It was reported that two of them had attended the tabligh gathering at Masjid Jamek in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, from Feb 27 to March 1. The third case is a family member of one of the patients. In Labuan, the health department urged those who attended the “Wacana Fatwa Halal” programme on March 5 to go for health screening, Bernama reported.
In Kuala Lumpur, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah advised those who attended the tabligh gathering not to join mosque congregations for prayers if they showed symptoms of sickness.
