The Arkansas governor had kept her powder dry for longer than some in Trump world wanted.

Sanders’ endorsement will come at a rally in Hialeah, Fla.
But in a phone call early this year, Sanders told Trump that she would be holding off on making an endorsement in the race until after her state’s legislative session ended, according to two people familiar with the discussion. Her ongoing neutrality has rankled Trump, who in the months since has racked up endorsements from a handful of other sitting governors.
Those moves stoked speculation within GOP circles that Sanders could hold off on endorsing her former boss. But Sanders will put that to rest when she appears with him on Wednesday.
