Screen Rant can exclusively present a clip from the upcoming film The Accursed, a terrifying tale that makes excellent use of practical effects. Arriving in select theaters and On Demand on October 14, the Screen Media production centers on a young woman who returns home after her mother's death. In order to escape the guilt she feels, she accepts a job from her friend to care for an elderly comatose woman living in a remote cabin.

When Meg Foster's comatose character comes into play, dreams begin to blur with reality and a demonic presence seeking to prey on her youth reveals itself.

The Accursed arrives from Screen Media, a film distribution company that has been providing quality entertainment in the US and Canada. Some of their recent releases include Monstrous starring Christina Ricci and Naked Singularity starring John Boyega. The Accursed has a runtime of 96 minutes and is not yet rated.The Accursed arrives in select theaters and On Demand on October 14.
