Vice President Sara Duterte resigns from Lakas-CMD
In a statement, Duterte said her resignation from the party to which she serves as chairperson, is “irrevocable.”
The Vice President, who is also the concurrent secretary of the Department of Education, did not cite the reason for her resignation. She called for “all leaders to focus on the work that must be done and leave a legacy of a strong and stable homeland.”
