The star running back was named the organization's Offensive Player of the Year, but he wasn't the only Eagles player to be recognized.

The Eagles' first two picks in the 2024 draft were named as the cornerbacks on the Pro Football Writers of America's All Rookie Team released on Saturday.

Barkley, who signed with the Eagles after spending his first six season with the Giants, was also named to the PFWA All-NFL and All-NFC Teams. He was joined on the NFC team by tackle Lane Johnson, guard Landon Dickerson, defensive tackle Jalen Carter and inside linebacker Zack Baun. Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, the Eagles’ first two picks in the 2024 draft, were named as the PFWA’s cornerbacks on the All Rookie team. They are also finalists for the Associated Press’ Defensive Rookie of the Year award.

Barkley is a finalist for the AP’s MVP and Offensive Player of the Year awards while Baun is a finalist for the AP’s Defensive Player of the Year award. The AP awards will be announced during Super Bowl week in New Orleans. Thank you for relying on us to provide the journalism you can trust.
