An unidentified woman who ignored demands to leave the property of a West Side man was shot and is in critical condition.
A woman in her 30s is in critical condition after she was shot by a San Antonio homeowner who thought she was a burglar, authorities said. San Antonio police found the unidentified woman with a gunshot wound to her chest when they answered a call for a shooting around 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Bradford Avenue , near North General McMullen and Culebra Road on the West Side .
Sgt. Edward Hollifield told News4 San Antonio in a live feed on Facebook that the homeowner, a man in his 30s, had been outside working on his car when the woman approached his house. “The man was thinking she was a burglar,” Hollifield said. “He was telling her to get off his property.
