Victor Gustavo Hernandez, 28, was charged with criminal mischief, attempt to take an officer’s weapon and evading arrest, the report states. He was booked in the Bexar County jail on a combined $39,000 bond, court records show.Officers had responded just before noon on Thursday to the 1400 block of Broadway for multiple calls stating that a man, later identified as Hernandez, was throwing rocks at vehicles, police said. The report states that when officers arrived at the scene, Hernandez started taking off his clothes and also threw his shoes at the officers as he attempted to run away toward Interstate 35.Police said Hernandez caused a felony dollar amount of damage to six vehicles. Hernandez was medically cleared at the scene by San Antonio Fire Department officials.
