A school in Sydney’s inner west is mourning the loss of a 12-year-old student, after she died in act of self-harm last week. 7 NEWS understands, Charlotte took her own life, after making allegations of relentless bullying while she attended Santa Sabina College in Strathfield. Santa Sabina College principal Paulina Skerman said the school’s “main priority is to support and care for students, their families and staff” as well as “support for this grieving family”.
when we were children, we went home after school, and we were safe. “Today it’s just relentless, it doesn’t stop with social media, and it can’t keep going on.” NSW Premier Chris Minns addressed the death and bullying allegations, saying he “can’t imagine what those parents are going through right now”, adding he was “deeply sorry”. “My heart just goes out to that family ... there could honestly be nothing worse than facing that,” Minns told reporters on Monday.
