Democratic politicians in Los Angeles attacked GovAbbott for sending a bus of immigrants who were released into Texas border towns to the sanctuary state of California. 'It is abhorrent,' MayorOfLA Karen Bass said.
“It is abhorrent that an American elected official is using human beings as pawns in his cheap political games," said Karen Bass, the Democratic mayor of Los Angeles, in a statement following the drop-off of 40 people Wednesday.“Los Angeles is not a city motivated by hate or fear and we absolutely will not be swayed or moved by petty politicians playing with human lives," Bass said, adding that the city was"on the receiving end of a despicable stunt.
