When it comes to donating blood, it doesn't matter if you've been vaccinated against COVID-19 or not.
On World Blood Donor Day, Khensani Mahlangu from the SA National Blood Service said one of the current challenges they are facing right now is the question of vaccination and blood.
"We do receive that question quite often: Can I receive blood from someone who is vaccinated or vice versa.SANBS celebrates World Blood Donor Day"The research support that blood transfusion is safe. We're trying to spread the word around that in this particular moment."
