Queen Creek police said a teenage boy died after being assaulted at a Halloween party over the weekend.

Community members are invited to share their remembrances of Preston Lord, the teenager who died following a large Halloween party in a Queen Creek neighborhoodSAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. — Combs High School will be hosting a candlelight vigil on Nov. 9 for Preston Lord, the teenager who died in the aftermath of a large Halloween party on Oct. 28.

"The Combs community continues to hold the Lord family and those dearest to them in our thoughts," the district wrote in a statement. A large Halloween party had taken place that evening, where up to 100 kids were in attendance, according to investigators.
