The San Ramon Valley Wolves defeated the Dublin Gaels 76-55 in an East Bay Athletic League basketball game on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at San Ramon Valley High School. SRV guard Luke Isaak led the charge with a near triple-double, scoring 23 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and dishing out nine assists. Elliot Conley added 22 points and four rebounds for the Wolves, while Mason Thomas chipped in with 10 points.
Dublin was paced by Miles Pollard with 16 points and Cameron Anderson with 11 points and five rebounds. Dublin took an early lead, but SRV responded with a 10-2 run to start the game. The Gaels fought back in the second quarter, but the Wolves extended their lead in the third quarter, outscoring Dublin 26-12. The game was sealed in the fourth quarter when Isaak threw a football pass to Conley for a thunderous one-hand dunk, giving SRV a commanding 69-50 lead. The victory extended SRV's winning streak to eight games and 12 out of their last 13. The Wolves are currently tied for first place in the EBAL with Dougherty Valley and De La Salle. Coach Brian Botteen believes his team is playing its best basketball and should be considered a top contender in the North Coast Section playoffs. Botteen emphasized that his team is focused on the present and not looking too far ahead. The Wolves' win wasn't the only exciting matchup in the EBAL on Tuesday. Dougherty Valley defeated Amador Valley in a crucial game, despite star player Stokes not having his usual high-scoring performance. Meanwhile, in the Diablo Athletic League, Ygnacio Valley rolled past College Park, led by Antonio Kellogg Jr.'s game-high 28 points. In the Pacific Coast Athletic League, Oakwood had three players in double figures but couldn't overcome Palma. And in the EBAL, California continued its winning streak with a comfortable victory over Foothill
