The suspect was a 22-year-old man from San Mateo. He was booked into San Mateo County Jail.

San Mateo police arrested a man on Sunday morning on suspicion of numerous crimes, including possession of illegal fireworks, drugs and a firearm.

Officers responded to a disturbance around 10:46 a.m. Sunday between a couple at a home on the 300 block of North Grant. An investigation of the house uncovered nine pounds of marijuana, 162 grams of methamphetamine, an unregistered pistol with a silencer and ammunition and more than 140 pounds of illegal fireworks, authorities said.

They will be held in more locations on the coast and in North County and North Fair Oaks. The Sherriff’s Office is also giving people up to $200 for turning in fireworks.Saturday, June 15, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Coastside Fire Protection District Headquarters in Half Moon Bay Saturday, June 29, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
