The new 6,600-square-foot location will bring the Guatemalan offerings beyond Uptown Dallas as the concept expands its footprint in the region. Its 5407 Belt Line Road address is across from EVO Cinemas and it formerly housed a pizza place that closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Guatemalan company has operated in its home country since 1974, but expanded to El Salvador in 2004 and to the United States in 2018.that San Martín is hoping to open “six or seven locations in the next five years.”
San Martín specializes in baked goods and features some Guatemalan cuisine. Open all day from 7 a.m. to dinner time, its extensive menu serves up extensive options no matter when you’re feeling hungry.For breakfast, you can get everything from avocado toast to a Guatemalteco, two eggs with ranchero sauce, salsa verde, refried beans, panela cheese and fried plantains.
“As DFW continues to expand and grow rapidly, we are excited to also grow and serve a new part of the city with a second location,” San Martín representative Santiago Castillo said in a news release. “We recognize that Addison serves as a hybrid community to residents and working professionals, and we welcome the opportunity for San Martín to be a destination for all.”, Features Fellow.
