The San Jose Police Department said on Wednesday that it responded to a shooting.

The department had said in an earlier report that the shooting took place on the 1000 block of Blossom Hill Road; the update said the location was on the 1000 block of Blossom River Drive.. The San Jose Police Department said that it responded to a shooting at 1:38 p.m. on the 1000 block of Blossom Hill Road. At the scene, officers found one man with “life-threatening injuries.”
Police asked people to avoid the area as an investigation is underway. “Traffic will be impacted,” the department said.
