SAN JOSE — An investigation into a family disturbance led to police shooting and wounding a person, authorities said early Monday.Officers were called to the area of S. First Street and Sutter Street about 7:45 p.m. Sunday on reports of an issue with a family that involved a weapon, according to a statement from San Jose police posted on social media. Police said the suspect threatened officers with a knife.After being wounded, the suspect barricaded inside the residence, police said.

Officers eventually took him into custody, and an ambulance rushed him to a hospital.
