UPDATE SanJosePD: Baby Brandon kidnapping suspect Baldomeo Sandoval released; will not face charges
SAN JOSE — Baldomeo Sandoval, one of three suspects arrested in the Baby Brandon kidnapping case, won’t face charges after new details in the abduction came to light, San Jose police announced Thursday.
Jose Roman Portillo and Yesenia Guadalupe Ramirez remain in custody on kidnapping charges and are set to be arraigned later Thursday. A criminal complaint made public revealed new details of how the crime had been planned in advance. The case began with a call reporting a missing 3-month-old infant Monday afternoon.
