By Bay City News Police arrested a teen who was allegedly driving a stolen car involved in tragic hit-and-run crash that killed a pregnant woman and her child last week in South San Jose. The 15-year-old is suspected of driving a white Hyundai sedan that ran a red light and hit a black Nissan sedan driven by the woman, about 8:42 p.m. on Oct. 24 near Blossom Hill Road and Winfield Boulevard, San Jose police said Monday.
Police said the Nissan driven by the woman had been headed east on Blossom Hill when it was hit by the Hyundai that ran a red light while headed south on Winfield. The intersection is near Oakridge Shopping Center. Two males in the Hyundai ran from the car after the wreck, police said. The Hyundai was an unreported stolen vehicle.
