A Stockton man was jailed in the Aug. 26 attack near Story and King roads, authorities say.
The shooting was reported around 1:40 a.m. on Aug. 26 at Story and King roads, according to San Jose police. Responding officers found a man in a parking lot suffering from gunshot injuries.
An ensuing investigation identified 46-year-old Sergio Loya, a Stockton resident, as the shooting suspect, authorities said.
