Police say they arrested a man Tuesday in connection to a Cinco de Mayo shooting that left a man injured in South San Jose.
SAN JOSE — Police arrested a Hollister man Tuesday in connection to an alleged South San Jose shooting that left one person injured on Cinco de Mayo, according to authorities.Santa Clara moves closer to letting voters decide whether to change the police chief and city clerk from elected to appointed rolesThe 30-year-old suspect allegedly fired a gunshot on the 30 block of Southside Drive that caused a graze wound to another person around 8:34 p.m. on May 5.
After months of investigations, police obtained search and arrest warrants, which were served Tuesday. The man was arrested in Hollister and police recovered two semi-automatic handguns, one bolt-action rifle and one semi-automatic rifle. He was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and other gun-related charges.
