Three San Jose Barracuda games will be shown on NBC Sports California this season.
Goalie Eetu Makiniemi, seen here after a game against the Tuscon Roadrunners at Tech CU Arena on Dec. 4, 2022, was called up from the San Jose Barracuda of the AHL to the San Jose Sharks on Dec. 6. Makiniemi had a 6-4-1 record with the Barracuda before he was recalled.For the first time in the team’s 10-year history, the Barracuda, the AHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, will have three of their regular season games televised by NBC Sports California.
NBC Sports California will show Barracuda games on Dec. 9, Jan. 9, and Jan. 26 against Henderson, Ontario and Calgary, respectively. The Jan. 9 will immediately follow the Sharks’ game in Toronto against the Maple Leafs game, which starts at 4 p.m. . NBC Sports California subscribers can also access these three games live on the NBC Sports app or the NBC Sports California website .
