20 teams of pitmasters will compete, sell samples
Sample professional-caliber ribs, brisket and more when BBQ in the Glen returns to San Jose’s Willow Glen this Saturday, Sept. 24.
Twenty professional and amateur barbecue teams from around the Bay Area will compete for prizes — and bragging rights — at this fifth festival, which runs from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free. Members of the public can purchase barbecue samples and other food and chat with pitmasters. And from now through Thursday, festival-goers may avoid the long ticket lines by preordering tokens online atThe event will also feature live music, a beer garden and children’s activities.
BBQ in the Glen, presented by the Willow Glen Business Association and SDS Next Gen / Mulcahy Family, will be held in the Bank of America parking lot at 1245 Lincoln Ave.
