Burke Williams spa in the San Francisco Centre mall is shutting down permanently on April 28th, citing 'years of poor policies, neglect and deterioration in the surrounding area' as the reason. This closure follows recent departures of Macy's Bloomingdale's and Michael Kors, leaving the mall with only 20%-30% occupancy. The spa's president, Bill Armour, expressed disappointment in the city's failure to address safety and overall conditions in downtown San Francisco.
