Immortal funk heroes Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire are scheduled to perform in San Francisco in 2023.
The concert is set to take place Friday, Sept. 8, on the tail end of a 20-date tour dubbed"Sing a Song All Night Long," a title that combines the aforementioned Richie hit with one of Earth, Wind & Fire's breezier singles. Aside from a closing show at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, it's the tour's only scheduled California stop.
Although Richie hasn't written a hit in quite some time, he's remained remarkably active for a 73-year-old singer, boasting a Las Vegas residency in 2022 that continues through this year, as well as an induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last year. Presale tickets will be available for Citi cardholders through Ticketmaster starting Tuesday, March 7. The general public can purchase tickets beginning Monday, March 13, at 10 a.m.
