"Normally I'd be wearing a hoodie and a hat, but I was sweating my butt off in a t-shirt," said Ali Woolwich, a San Francisco theater union worker, " "I hydrate, I drink lots of water 8-10 glasses a day," said Sylvia DeWitt, a Berkeley resident who was walking along Ocean Beach in San Francisco with her friend Joyce Lewis of San Francisco who lives nearby."We don't have a lifeguard so people when they come out here to the beach I highly recommend, especially if they have young children, they don't turn their backs on the beach and supervise their children," said Lewis.
