Magoon Gwath made one of two free throws with 12 seconds left to make it a three-point game. San Diego State: The Aztecs were outrebounded in the first half 24-15, but won the rebounding battle in the second half 18-16.Starting Boyd was held scoreless until the 9:02 mark of the second half, but hit a layup and two 3-pointers to cut a the Cougars lead to 54-52.
