A look at San Diego’s best high school athletes from the month of November

The senior had another nine key digs to lead the Dons to the CIF Open Division state title in a 3-0 sweep of San Jose Archbishop Mitty. She had 482 digs for the season.
The sophomore stepped up in a major way, completing 23 of 27 passes for 272 yards and four touchdowns on the way to a 42-20 win over Torrey Pines in the CIF San Diego Section Division 1 championship game.The junior led the Lancers to the North County Coastal League title and into the Southern California Division 2 finals, where he scored five goals in a 12-9 loss to Mira Costa.
