San Diego police investigating after pedestrian killed in apparent hit-and-run crash in Fairmount Park [Breaking]
San Diego police are investigating after a pedestrian apparently was hit by a vehicle and suffered fatal injuries in the Fairmount Park area on Sunday evening.
Officers checking on the welfare of a person around 10 p.m. found an injured man in the middle of a road near Tulip Street and Trailing Drive, said police Officer Sarah Foster.The man was transported to a hospital, where he died.Traffic officers will be handling the investigation, she said.
