Padres FanFest was set to kickoff the Friars’ 2024 season on Sunday but has been canceled by the team due to “expected inclement weather” that could hit San Diego County this weekend.
The Padres have also rescheduled the celebration of former Chairman and Owner, Peter Seidler. The team will honor Seidler during a ceremony at Petco Park on Saturday starting at 11:00 a.m. The highly anticipated reveal of Gallagher Square also marks start of the Padres’ commemoration of Petco Park’s 20th anniversary.
