San Diego Oasis is inviting older adults to explore classes such as cardio drumming and soul line dancing at its two locations during its annual Fitness Palooza this Friday. From 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the nonprofit that is focused on continuing education for seniors will host a slate of free, 20-minute sessions showcasing various exercise classes offered at both the La Mesa and Rancho Bernardo locations.
At the La Mesa wellness center in Grossmont Center, seniors can participate in demonstrations focused on cardio drumming, T’ai Chi Chih, soul line dancing, better balance and a class focused on dance exercise. The nearby lifelong learning center, also located in the mall, will feature health seminars on decreasing stroke risks and how movement helps to increase circulation.
