Every parent wants what’s best for their children. Yet, every single day, too many families face the impossible task of raising their children from motel room to motel room, from the back seat of a sedan or, worse yet, in a tent on the streets.37 percent

Children who experience high stress, hunger and fatigue, especially over months and years, see these stresses compound into physical, emotional and behavioral health problems. These translate into issues with academic performance and even developmental delays.In 2022, Father Joe’s Villages helped over 569 families and 1,133 children get the care they needed through comprehensive services like primary and behavioral health care, early childhood education, child care and case management.

But the rising costs of living and the sheer number of families and children who already need our help cannot be tackled by one organization, by one volunteer or by one program.
