Team says the new '8-Bit' kit has vintage video game, summer vibes
San Diego Loyal SC will look a little different when it takes the field Friday night.
The club will take on Sacramento Republic FC at Torero Stadium wearing a new alternate “8-Bit” kit includes a blue-to-green color fade and pattern that the team says represents “San Diego’s perfect climate and beaches, the ultimate destination for summer fun in the sun.” The new alternate jersey features the club’s “SD” logo along with the logos of four sponsors: BluPeak, Corralejo Tequila, Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego and Cymbiotika.
