“That’s what was spoken about from Day 1: that we’re here to win the competition,” said Lee, who is in his second season coaching the Legion, who were founded in 2018. “It’s been a long process going through the rounds and then last week, they hype around the Western Conference Final at Snapdragon. The guys were happy, they enjoyed the moment but at the back of their minds it was about the MLR Final. So there wasn’t a lot of hoopla, not a lot of celebrating. It’s about: the job’s not finished.
New England has perhaps the speediest front line in MLR, Lee said.
